The Heavy Wall Light from Decode, designed by Benjamin Hubert, uses conventional materials in an unconventional way. The drying of the concrete shade takes several days. During this process, random air pockets become exposed on the inner surface, forming vein type patterns. These give each shade its own signature effect, which contrasts with the smooth exterior.
