A fine antique mahogany reading table with adjustable top, chamfered corners and ebony inlay to the edge. The slope is adjusted by the brass mechanism. This elegant Regency table stands on an exceptionally beautifully turned column and an ebony inlaid tripod, terminating in decorative gold ball feet. There are historic restorations to the table as is often the case with much used antique pieces of furniture. This is a very distinctive antique reading table, typical of the Regency period and would add style to any room.
