Product Overview

This innovative product from ORACLE Lighting features high-powered LED light bars integrated into factory-style side mirrors for the RAM 1500. The result is an easy-install, sophisticated OEM-like appearance while providing functional peripheral illumination for the driver.

Each mirror uses a custom LED module with 24 total LEDs producing approximately 2,200–2,250 lumens. The optic system is purpose-built for this mounting location with a 45° beam angle to optimize side-of-trail visibility.

Functionality

Factory headlights and most auxiliary lights primarily illuminate the area in front of the vehicle. For off-road activities such as trail riding, the driver needs to clearly see the sides of the trail to spot obstructions that could otherwise go unnoticed.

Unlike external “ditch lights” that can look like an afterthought, the side mirror sits in the driver’s field of vision while driving—making it an ideal location to integrate functional lighting that enhances night-time visibility.

Design & Durability

Innovation

The integrated light bar uses 24 powerful Cree LEDs with a purpose-built 45° beam to increase driver visibility on trail or in desert driving. Multiple aluminum heat sinks wick heat away from the LEDs and leverage airflow through the mirror housing for improved cooling.

Durability

The housing is made from rugged polycarbonate (stronger than typical factory ABS) and bolts on using the factory mounting points for easy installation. Anodized rock guards protect the acrylic lenses and optic system for long-term off-road use.

OEM-Level Integration

The goal was to seamlessly integrate functional lighting into the vehicle design so it looks factory. Instead of tacked-on bars mounted to bumpers or roof racks, these mirrors provide real performance and clean appearance.
