A really beautiful set of 8 Regency fruit wood dining chairs with a simulated rosewood finish. These stunning antique dining chairs have many highly decorative features typical of the Regency period. Each elegant reeded top rail has a central brass boss, an upper back rail with distinctive roundals, central back rail with rosette brass boss motif and fine swirling uprights. The dining chairs are raised on elegant sabre legs, the front of which are decorated with brass rosettes. The cane seats are in good order and are topped with drop in seats, newly covered in a neutral cream moire fabric, complimenting the mellow colour of the wood. The chair joints are sound, and the chairs are very comfortable to sit on. There are some minor  historic restorations and old woodworm, as is typical in well used pieces of antique furniture of character, these are shown in the accompanying photos. More photographs are available on request. A really delightful set of antique dining chairs that would add style to any dining room.
