Description:
A new work with music by Hanya Lani, selected by herself from the documentary film about sculptor Alberto Giacometti. Hanya Lani composed the music for a documentary film (directed by Susanna Fantzun) about Alberto Giacometti, a legendary Swiss-born artist/sculptor of the 20th century, and his family. In the past few years, offers to compose music for the film have been pouring in from all over the world, and this is a wonderful example of how Hanya, who has gained a great reputation not only as a pianist but also as a modern composer, has further expanded her talent. Hanya himself is also greatly influenced by Giacometti's works and their aesthetics. This album features excerpts from the soundtrack, which Hanya himself has selected for this release. The simple and delicate sound is based on "silence," similar to the sound of "Esja," which brought Hanya to prominence. For this album, Hanya moved to the mountains of Switzerland, where Giacometti was born, for several months during the winter months, and composed and created this time in an environment covered with ice and snow, almost cut off from the real world.A too beautiful ambient/post-classical masterpiece that effectively combines piano, electronica, orchestration, etc., and covers them with a pleasant temperature delay. As for the melding of spatial beauty and piano, it acquires the highest quality depth in Hanya's career. Dobrava Chohel, who became a famous collaborator with Hanya, also participates on cello on two tracks. Bonus tracks are included only on the Japanese edition.
