This tank will create the Classic Harley Fat Bob look for the 1982 thru 1994 FXR models. It has the appearance of the Classic split Fat Bob tanks but is really a one piece tank assembly. Tank accepts screw type gas caps or the latest design "Quick Cam" lockable flush mount, stock style petcock and FL-FXWG style large speedo dash. Bolts directly to the stock mounts. Each tank includes our ZPN114246 Speedo cable (front wheel drive with 5/8" or 16mm cable to speedo nuts) and a chrome tank divider panel (3.5 gallon, 13,2L.).

GAS TANKS The zinc-chromate primer finish on some of our tanks is provided for the protection of the tanks during shipment and storage. It is not recommended as a primer finish for paint applications without proper surface preparation. As with any fuel tank, particularly one where custom paint is to be applied, all tanks must be pressure tested, then cleaned with tank cleaner and sealed with tank sealer before painting, to protect the final finish and prevent internal rust during winter storage. Fuel capacity is measured with tank in upright position, angle of parked bike will determine actual capacity of the fuel tank.
