Tasting Note

This has the distinction of being the first cask laid down by the Stewart Whisky Company and it was a hard decision to pull the trigger and bottle it. However the quality it had achieved just after its 16th birthday took the decision out of our hands. Taking on more sherry notes from the 2nd Fill Palo Cortado cask than expected, yet retaining the sweetly earthy beauty natural to Benriach makes this a personal favourite.
