Why this aircraft matters
N747BC is the first Boeing 747-400 Large Cargo Freighter (LCF), also known as the Dreamlifter. It was converted from Air China’s B-2464, a 747-400, in 2006. The conversion was completed in August 2006, and the aircraft made its maiden test flight on September 9, 2006.

The Dreamlifter was designed to transport large components for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Its unique design includes a widened fuselage and a swing tail cargo door to accommodate oversized parts. 

N747BC was the first of four Dreamlifters built. It has been operated by Atlas Air under contract with Boeing. 

This model replicates the aircraft's bare metal finish and distinctive design. It is a must-have for collectors and aviation enthusiasts.
