The trio, formed in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1987 as Nelsh Bailter Space, crossed new wave, alternative, shoegaze, and post-rock from a unique perspective, captivating maniacal alternative fans with their psychedelic, intoxicating, yet impulsive guitar work and beats, and releasing the ultimate compilation "Still in a Dream", a familiar name to shoegaze fans. The band is also featured in "Still in a Dream - A Story of Shoegaze 1988-1995," and Mogwai has also expressed his influence on the band. The band's pop direction suddenly came out in full force, with the popular song "Splat" at the top of the list, and the band's pop direction was suddenly in full swing, with the vibrations of US alternative steel, powerful Brit Pop-derived hooks reminiscent of bands from Roses to Oasis, and the rhythms of NEU! The album contains a total of 10 tracks, all of which are performed with the evolved rhythms of NEU! Fans and the media at the time were puzzled by the band's mutation, but listening to the album 25 years later, it shines brightly as a work that represents the golden age of alternative music. For this reissue, the album has been remastered from the original tapes and reissued on a limited-quantity transparent orange vinyl.
