This album is the follow-up to "Misty Blue" (1977), the miracle album that saved Malaco, by Dorothy Moore, a diva born in Jackson, Mississippi, Malaco's home state. This self-titled album features such classics as the dance classic "Let the Music Play," which still gets the floor going, the mellow mid-dancer "Daddy's Eyes," and the country soul tune "I Believe You," which was covered by The Carpenters.
