Bee Gees
Description:
The Bee Gees, a pop vocal group formed by the three British Gibb brothers, established themselves as a top band in the 1960s with a number of classic hits. In the 1970s, the Bee Gees rode the disco boom and entered a new era with songs that took a new direction and accompanying movies that produced even more hit songs. The Bee Gees' early days as a pop-rock band are now available on CD in a rare live archive!
In the fall of 1973, the second time for the Bee Gees to visit Japan, the band played a concert with more than 20 hit numbers as a mega hit maker. Incidentally, the band released the album "LIFE IN A TIN CAN" that year. This concert was recorded and broadcast for Japanese TV and international radio programs, and this album contains the complete set list of the day. The band performed many of their hit songs with a full orchestra in the background, and their talent as melody makers as well as their great live performance is once again evident.
As a bonus track, there are 8 songs from the Chicago show on July 15 of the same year during the North American tour to promote the album "MAIN COURSE," which was released in 1975 and became a hit after a long time. You can hear the last sound style of the band as they transformed into disco music.
