Biosensors enable the monitoring of real-time changes in CNS neurochemical concentrations. The sensing cavity of a Pinnacle biosensor is 176 or 80 microns in diameter and 1.0 mm in length. Standard biosensors are manufactured with an integrated Ag/AgCl reference electrode. Pinnacle's 7004 biosensor series is compatible with BASi mouse guide cannula (7032) for stereotaxic placement.

Biosensors are ordered by analyte type:

• Glutamate
• Glucose
• Lactate
• Ethanol (180 μm only)
• Null
• Blank

Note: Please allow 7 business days between ordering and shipment of biosensors. The 21-day warranty only applies to glucose, glutamate, lactate sensors and carbon fiber electrodes. The sensor is warranted for 21 days, or until initial precalibration, whichever is first. Longer lead times may also apply for custom sensor types. We will only ship sensors via FedEx 2-Day or Overnight.
