Deep ruby red, with a slight garnet hue. Complex scents reach the nose, reminding us initially of dark, overripe berries and jam, before giving way to mineral and spicy notes of liquorice and tobacco. The tannins in the mouth, while still energetic, are well sculpted. Warm on the palate, with excellent persistence.

Made with 100% Sangiovese grapes, Castello Banfi's Brunello di Montalcino DOCG can be considered as a classic of Banfi's production in Montalcino. The product of a clonal selection of grapes, it ages for two years in large French oak barrels and French oak barriques, completing its ageing in the bottle for 8-12 months. Refined and elegant, as much on the nose as on the palate, it reaches very high quality standards, offering guarantees from every point of view. It helps keep the level of the appellation high.

Ideal to accompany red meats and game, it is ideal with partridge and truffle.
