This is an authentic Cave Bear (Ursus spelaeus) metacarpal bone fossil, dating to the Pleistocene period. It was discovered in a cave deposit in Romania, a region famous for it Cave bear finds.

The metacarpal formed part of the bear’s paw, supporting its massive weight and strength.
