For this reissue, we went back to the original analog master tapes in the country of origin and digitized them in high sound quality. The use of a top-of-the-line flat master, not only for this reissue, has resulted in a very excellent presence. The texture and each localization are remarkably clear and distinct, and with the added benefit of DSD, we have reproduced the most excellent sound quality ever. In the production process, the original analog master tapes were physically maintained and restored by former DECCA engineers at CLASSIC SOUND in the UK, and then directly converted to DSD, a meticulous and time-consuming mastering process for this series. The SA-CD layer offers high-definition master sound, and the CD layer has also undergone state-of-the-art digitization and mastering, making it a cut above the sound quality of the previous discs. The series features the original jacket design and a 12-page commentary with a new preface by Hiro Ichiba. This 30th volume of the "Vintage SA-CD Collection" will release a total of two titles. (2/2)
