Henrik Lindstrand, best known for his work with the iconic Danish band Kashmir, has completed a new album. Klangland, his fourth album following the release of his piano trilogy, is now available.Klangland, Henrik Lindstrand's new album, to be released on One Little Independent in March 2023, was recorded in Berlin by engineer Francesco After the release of his solo piano trilogy, Henrik Lindstrand felt the need to broaden his vision, and he began to explore new instruments and melodies. He embarked on his most challenging sonic journey to date, finding new instruments and ways to convey emotion through melody. This has defined his musical career to date, and in fact, his fourth studio album, Klangland, takes a rigorous approach to the process, utilizing a 16-piece string section.The album's title, Klangland, is named after his Copenhagen studio. Many of its concepts are drawn from nature, the environment, the surroundings, and themes of home and family.
