Craftsman Raised Panel PVC Column Wrap - Perfect for a variety of column projects due to the variety of sizes available. This column comes complete with a Raised Panel Pedestal, a Tapered PVC Column Wrap, and the Capital and Base set of your choice for the Tapered column. The height of the Pedestal and the height of the Tapered Column will vary depending on your preferred overall height.

Each pedestal shaft comes flat-packed in a box for easy shipping, and the column shafts will also be flat-packed. Generally, the additional pre-cut components for the pedestal and column capital/base will be packed in a separate box. It comes complete with 3 oz of PVC adhesive, tape, installation cleats, mounting hardware, and instructions for easy installation.

Made using our exclusive lock mitred rails and stiles. The pedestals and/or columns can easily be cut on-site to suit your required height (Note: The Tapered PVC Column should only be cut from the bottom). Keep in mind that PVC cuts on a chop saw just like wood.

This porch post cover can wrap around a 4x4 or 6x6 (true 5-1/2" x 5-1/2") support post, as the minimum opening at the top of the tapered column is 5-3/4". The pedestal will line up with 36" railings. See the links above for more detailed sizing specifications.

The preferred total height of the columns will have the following combination of Pedestal and Tapered column sizing:
8ft Combination - 40" High Pedestal, combined with a 56" Tapered PVC Column Wrap
9ft Combination - 40" High Pedestal, combined with a 68" Tapered PVC Column Wrap
10ft Combination - 48" High Pedestal, combined with a 72" Tapered PVC Column Wrap

The Pedestal has a shaft width of 12", and a footprint of 14" at the bottom with an opening of 8 1/4". The footprint at the top of the column, with the Georgian Capital is 10-3/8". The footprint at the top of the column, with the Box Capital is 8", which is preferred when you are looking for a smaller footprint at the top of the column.
