Felco have been making secateurs in Switzerland since 1948.  The Model 8 is a large hand secateur, similar in size to the Model 2.  However, it features an angled cutting head that many find helps with the ergonomics of following the flow of your hand and wrists.

It also has an asymmetrical shaped handle, which I personally find massively more comfortable than the Model 2.  As a result of this handle shape this model is also available in a left handed version which you can find here.

Aluminium handles with a hardened steel blade.  Generally speaking they require less maintenance than a Japanese style secateur.

Classed as a size "large" for hands the measure 20cm and above from wrist to finger tip.  Sizing guide can be found here.

They measure 210mm and weigh 250grams.  Rated to cut material up to 25mm in diameter.
