As the longest tenured defensemen in NHL history, with 1651 career regular season games played, Chris Chelios won three Stanley Cup titles with Montreal and Detroit during his NHL record of 24 post season appearances. A three time winner of the Norris Trophy and five times 1st Team NHL All-Star, he played a role on Team USA's blue line, winning the 1996 World Cup of Hockey and the 2002 Olympic Silver medal. Spending time as captain of both Montreal and Chicago, Chelios finished his career ninth in scoring among defensemen with 948 career regular season points.
