📏 Precision that fits in your hand – for the maker, the jeweler, and the DIY enthusiast. Whether you’re measuring the exact diameter of a bead for a necklace repair, checking the thickness of a washer in your workshop, or ensuring a perfect fit for a 3D-printed prototype, guesswork has no place. Our Stainless Steel Vernier Caliper delivers industrial-grade accuracy (0.02mm) with four measurement modes: outer diameter, inner diameter, step, and depth. No more squinting at rulers or estimating with tape measures. From jewelry makers to home mechanics, this caliper gives you the confidence of exact dimensions – every single time. Durable high‑carbon steel construction, laser‑engraved scales, and a smooth locking nut mean you’ll rely on it for years.
Stop guessing – start knowing. Whether you’re repairing a necklace and need the exact link size, or building a DIY shelf and need to match a screw diameter, this caliper eliminates the “try it and hope” approach. You’ll save materials, time, and frustration.
Professional accuracy without the professional price. A digital caliper costs three times as much and needs batteries. Our vernier caliper is mechanical, never runs out of power, and delivers the same 0.02mm accuracy. It’s the tool engineers and machinists trust – now available for your home projects.
Durable enough to outlast you. High-carbon steel construction means you can pass this down to the next generation. We’ve even tested it to support an adult’s weight (no malicious stomping, but it proves the toughness). A lifelong investment for makers and fixers.

*All dimensions manually measured, may vary slightly. Plastic caliper is recommended for light, non‑critical measurements; industrial steel models are for precision work. Upgraded models feature enhanced finish and micro‑adjustment wheel.
💡 Tip: For beginners, practice on an object with a known size (like a coin or a standard drill bit). The included user manual has a detailed reading guide with illustrations.
Absolutely. The 150mm model is perfect for jewelry work. Use the inner jaws to measure ring diameters, the outer jaws for bead dimensions, and the depth rod for finding the depth of a setting. The 0.02mm accuracy is far beyond what most jewelers need – you’ll be able to sort beads to 0.1mm tolerance easily.
The steel caliper (high-carbon steel) is rigid, durable, and accurate to 0.02mm – ideal for metalworking, woodworking, and engineering tasks. The plastic caliper is lightweight (16g), lower accuracy (0.1mm), and fine for quick rough measurements or for use with non‑marring requirements (e.g., measuring soft materials). For serious precision, we strongly recommend the industrial steel models.
Yes, all industrial grade models (150mm, 200mm, 300mm) come with a protective storage box and a user manual. The plastic caliper comes in an OPP bag only (no box). Upgraded versions also include a box.
It’s simpler than it looks. The main scale is in mm. The vernier scale has 50 divisions covering 49mm on the main scale, so each vernier division = 0.02mm. After reading the main scale (e.g., 12mm), find which line on the vernier aligns exactly with a main scale line – let’s say the 8th line (each line = 0.02mm, so 8×0.02=0.16mm). Total = 12.16mm. The manual includes a picture guide.
Yes. Use the outer jaws to clamp the coin. Accuracy is high enough to tell the difference between a penny and a dime thickness (within 0.1mm). Perfect for sheet metal, guitar frets, or plastic cards.
The high-carbon steel body has a protective satin finish, but it is not stainless steel. To prevent rust, wipe it dry after each use and store it in the included box with a light machine oil film (especially in humid environments). The laser engraving will not rub off.
The upgraded version includes a fine‑adjustment thumb wheel (micro‑adjustment) for even smoother movement and more precise positioning, plus a nicer packaging box. The measurement accuracy remains 0.02mm. Choose upgraded if you want extra control for repeat measurements.
We offer a 30-day return window for unused calipers in original packaging. If you receive a defective item, contact us for a replacement or refund. We stand behind our quality.
*Parameters are manually measured, actual values may vary slightly. New and old packaging may be shipped randomly. Industrial grade models include box; plastic model does not.
