Everyone has their favourite Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 lens... I assume. Well, this one's mine. This is the second-generation AF-D lens, with a two-ring design and a built-in tripod mount. "What about the AF-S model?", you're probably saying. It's a good question, but call Nikon and ask them if they can replace that focusing motor when it breaks. Go ahead, I'll wait.......
