We took historical inspiration from the famous painting by Francois Boucher of Madame Pompadour, a 1759 oil painting. Our inspired Pompadour Skirt - Midnight Black design has layers of lace and handmade flowers to replicate the flowing nature of the skirt depicted in the painting. It is without a doubt the most grande of the Immortelle line of skirts.

Measurements: Our versatile drawstring elasticated waist allows for the Pompadour Skirt - Midnight Black to be adjusted from a 20 inch waist to a 52 waist measurement.
Length: Varies slightly around 44 inches. Our Pompadour Skirt - Midnight Black is designed to be easily "pinned up" at the gathers if desired allowing for the skirt to fit over most underpinnings such as our Panniers, Crinolines or Full Hoops.
Underpinnings: Styled over a full court hoop and the forthcoming Immortelle crinoline; these foundational underpinnings are NOT included with this piece.
