This PRP / SDE torque converter and billet flex plate combo is engineered specifically for Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, R33 and R34 vehicles running the PRP Powerglide Transmission Conversion Kit.

When used with the PRP Powerglide gearbox and bellhousing, the transmission housing features GT-R–specific reliefs that eliminate the need to hammer or modify the factory transmission tunnel. This ensures correct drivetrain alignment, proper clearance, and a clean, professional installation in the GT-R chassis.

The custom-built 9” torque converter is designed for high-load and high-RPM applications, featuring a steel fabricated stator, mechanical diode, and TIG-welded vanes to ensure reliable power transfer under extreme conditions. Internally, the converter is furnace brazed for strength, while anti-ballooning plates and a forged billet base provide stability during high oil pressure and aggressive launches.

Paired with the converter is the PRP RB Billet Alloy Flex Plate, machined from aircraft-grade billet alloy. Unlike thin steel flex plates that can flex or distort under converter flare, this billet design maintains rigidity and drivetrain integrity in serious performance and racing applications. The flex plate is designed to suit a 3-bolt Chevy torque converter, while remaining fully compatible with RB crankshafts, factory-style ring gears, bellhousings, and starter motor setups.

This combo is built to suit RB engines with a 10.75” PCD, ensuring correct fitment and compatibility when pairing an RB engine with a Powerglide transmission in the GT-R chassis.
