Work it with sweeping rod movements, strong walks, and controlled pauses.

The key is to make it look like a wounded baitfish trying to escape, not just drag it back in a straight line.

Pauses beside bait schools or current edges can be the strike trigger.

It is strongest over reefs, around bait balls, current seams, bluewater edges, and areas where trevally, tuna, kingfish, or queenfish are pushing bait upward.

It is not the first choice when fish are feeding on micro bait or refusing surface lures.
