The Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Collection expands into sport

This powerful watch allies all the high functionality of the Spring Drive Chronograph Caliber 9R86 with a uniquely ‘go-anywhere’ design and a new combination of materials. The result is a timepiece of rare refinement. While the pedigree of the Grand Seiko Style is unmistakably evident in every watch, the refinements of the new Evolution 9 Style in this chronograph also clear to see. The lugs are wider and the bracelet is more robust and, like the case, has a low center of gravity to ensure that the watch sits more comfortably and securely on the wrist. The hands are bolder and more clearly differentiated for even greater legibility and the numerals on the bezel are of a new font developed especially for the Evolution 9 Collection. Furthermore, this may well be the world's most accurate spring-driven chronograph, with a precision of ±15 seconds a month, or ±1 second a day
