As homebrewers we love the “Back to Basics” way of life. We care about conserving our resources. That is why using less water matters to us.

You can save water during the cooling process with our KegFactory water efficient chiller with direct connect fittings for garden hoses. This coil has an inner water mixer that causes the cooling water to turbulate as it travels through the coil. This reduces the laminar flow found in standard chillers where only the outer water is cooled as it moves through the coil. The result is a 40% reduction in water, and faster cooling, when compared with our standard chillers.

ALL of our chillers feature coils that are raised up to where the heat is. Since heat rises and other wort chillers on the market have all the coils on the bottom, they actually never cool unless you stir your wort. The problem with stirring is that you mix up all your trub/sediment and you also risk airborne contamination. Our chillers cool fast and allow you to keep the lid on your kettle during the critical cooling period.
