Soft and silky in shades of red, dark brown, amber and orange. Hand dyed one at a time so each one is unique. Dyed, wrapped on a pole and compressed before dyeing again to create the stripes. Then the entire process is repeated again to get the cross hatching. Time consuming but so worth it. A lightweight crepe silk that can be hand washed in cold water and dried on low or hung to dry.
