This modern interpretation draws inspiration from the iconic "Dirty Dozen" military watches issued during the 1940s and 1950s. Combining historical military aesthetics with modern hybrid technology, it delivers the best of both worlds—a smooth sweeping second hand and ultra-low maintenance performance.
This watch features a mechanical/quartz hybrid movement. Powered by a battery and regulated by a quartz crystal, it drives the hands mechanically through electromagnetic coils—mimicking the sweep of a traditional automatic watch but without the need for winding or regular servicing.
At the 6 o'clock position, this pointer-style 24-hour subdial acts primarily as a day/night indicator. It mirrors the main hour hand in a 24-hour format.

The final image shows the original 12 "Dirty Dozen" watches produced by legendary military contractors: Buren, Cyma, Eterna, Grana, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Lemania, Longines, IWC, Omega, Record, Timor, and Vertex.
Although MWC was founded in 1974 and not among the original manufacturers, this model captures the heritage, purpose, and utilitarian charm of those classic timepieces—reimagined for the modern era.
