Becoming

An original colourful abstract wall art piece inspired by transformation, resilience and the beauty of becoming who you are meant to be.

Created during a period of profound personal change, Becoming reflects the gradual process of shedding old versions of ourselves and stepping into something stronger, wiser and more authentic.

Painted entirely with alcohol inks on canvas, this piece marks an important stage in my artistic journey as I began to develop a new visual language and trust my instincts more deeply. The layered blues, violets, pinks and shimmering gold details speak to both past and future. Interestingly, the colour palette was inspired by the accidental marks, stains and patterns that had accumulated on my worktable over the years, making this piece a quiet homage to the creative path that brought me here.

Rich in movement and contrast, this colourful abstract wall art captures the tension between uncertainty and possibility that exists whenever we choose growth over comfort.
