Douze Études is a set of difficult studies for Oboe by Roland Lamorlette. All studies are as difficult and it is advised that the player should start playing them at a slow tempo to acquire the perfect technique first then try the tempo indicated. The volume also provides some indication on the staccato technique for the Oboe. The text in this volume (prefaces, nuances, advices and explanations) is written in English, French and German. Roland Lamorlette (1894-1960) was the principal Oboe Soloist at the Paris Opéra-Comique.
