Category Description

This category focuses on speed, precision, and technical mastery in executing a high-quality fade haircut within 15 minutes. Barbers are challenged to deliver both difficulty and cleanliness under time pressure.

Rules & Regulations

1. Participants must complete the official registration before the closing date.
2. Participants are required to arrive at the venue at least 1 hour before the competition starts for check-in and preparation.
3. Each participant must bring their own tools, equipment, extension plugs, and products needed for the competition.
4. Participants are required to use the official BEESMADE Cutting Cape provided during the competition.
5. Participants are encouraged to utilize BEESMADE products such as BEESMADE Matte Clay, Mattifying Powder, Classic Pomade, and other related products during styling and presentation.
6. Participants must prepare one live model. Mannequin heads are not allowed unless stated otherwise by the organiser.
7. Models must arrive with hair in its natural condition before the competition starts. Pre-cut guidelines or heavy pre-styling are not allowed.
8. Participants must follow the designated competition area and safety guidelines throughout the event.
9. Any inappropriate behaviour, cheating, or violation of rules may result in point deduction or disqualification.
10. Judges’ decisions are final and cannot be challenged.
11. The organiser reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during the competition for promotional and marketing purposes.
12. Participants are expected to maintain professionalism, cleanliness, and sportsmanship throughout the event.

Category Requirements

1. Participants must perform a clean fade haircut within the given time.
2. The styling on top hair model and suit the model’s head shape and facial structure.
   
3. Both sides and back must be faded evenly
4. No pre-cutting is allowed before the timer starts.
5. Clippers, trimmers, and scissors are allowed.
6. Enhancements (sprays, fibers, etc.) are not allowed.
7. Styling products can be applied at the end within the time frame.
8. The model must arrive with at least 1" (2.5cm) of hair on the sides & back.
   

Main Judging Focus

1. Fade Blending & Difficulty - 15 Points
   (Fade execution, clean blending, no harsh lines, symmetry and fade difficulty attempt.)

2. Creativity in Styling - 10 Points
   (Interesting, unique, and intentional styling, complimenting the model.)

3. Appearance & Professionalism - 5 Points
   (Barber’s attire, grooming, confidence, and model’s stage presence.)
