Mode of Action

Flybird works through a highly powerful dual mechanism. Fipronil disrupts the central nervous system by blocking the GABA-gated chloride channels , causing severe nervous hyper-excitation. Imidacloprid acts as a systemic neonicotinoid, irreversibly binding to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) . Together, this combination ensures uncontrollable nerve firing, an immediate cessation of feeding, irreversible paralysis, and rapid death.
