Delilah is one of the rarest and most precious 1970s dream dresses I have ever had grace my rails.. I feel so fortunate to be the person that has been able to hold this one in my grasp, like all Fratini dresses, she is remarkable and truly breathtaking. This is one of Fratinis earlier designs, from the early 70s and is crafted in a stunning soft and drapey cotton and of course is adorned in so many gorgeous details, with lace frills aplenty.. I love her mixed florals, with a small ditsy print to her bodice, cuffs and flounce and a clustered floral on an ivory base to her body and sleeves. Fratini designed with romance and movement in mind, and this certainly is one of those dresses filled with all of her raw playful romantic energy. Her cut is unusual, with huge billowing cuffed sleeves, a curved bodice with high collar and a stunning drapey skirt. This dress is a piece of magic and is a collectors piece, I am eagerly awaiting to see where her next destination will be..

She has been freshly laundered and is ready to wear. She can safely be hand washed at home in cool water and drip dryed. She is in good vintage condition, she has a few minor signs of wear. Her lace at her hem as a few very small mends, nothing major and certainly does not detract.

 This beauty has minimal signs of vintage wear, but please bear in mind that our pieces are true vintage, they’ve been danced in and they have been lived in, so all of our garments will carry your usual signs of vintage wear. Anything that we think is outside of what would class as usual vintage wear, we will state.
