Why Mata Traders?

We love Mata Traders consciously crafted ethical fashion so much! Jen has been on the hunt for classically cut cotton dresses for years and was overjoyed to find this line. Not only do they work with a fair trade women's co-op which provides health and dental care, flexible hours and so on, they use stunning traditional textile techniques for some of their fabrics such as woodblock printing and ikat! 

Also, pockets, they put pockets in the vast majority of their dresses. This business is run by women!!
