Effects of this medicine
・This medicine exerts hypotensive effect by selectively blocking α1 sympathetic receptors.
・It is usually used to treat hypertension and hypertension caused by pheochromocytoma.
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・In general, for adults, start with 1 tablet (0.5 mg of doxazosin) at a time, once a day. If it is not effective enough, the dosage will be gradually increased to 2 to 8 tablets (1 to 4 mg) at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks, to be adjusted according to the age or symptoms.
・However, the maximum daily dose is 16 tablets (8 mg) for hypertension and 32 tablets (16 mg) for hypertension caused by pheochromocytoma. Strictly follow the instructions.
・If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

・Pay close attention when you drive a car, work at heights or operate dangerous machinery.

・Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature (1 to 30 degrees Celsius), away from direct sunlight and moisture.
・Discard the remainder. Do not store them. If you do not know how to dispose of the unused medicines, seek advice of your pharmacy or medical institution. Do not give the unused medicines to others.
